Frequently Asked Questions

Are the Face paints you use safe?
 
All of the paints we use are FDA approved, water based, hypoallergenic, cosmetic grade paint.  All glitter is also cosmetic grade and safe to use on skin.  If there are any concerns with quality of paint, feel free to request all listed ingredients before date of booked entertainment. Thank you!

 
Can face paint irritate skin or cause an allergic reaction?
 
All face paints used by Jamboree Arts have FDA approved, water-based, cosmetic grade ingredients.  Although the chances of an allergic reaction are highly unlikely, we cannot ensure zero skin reaction in all people.  Taking care in washing your face paint design off thoroughly with a gentle soap and warm water before sleeping can aid in preventing skin irritation until you know how your skin may react to prolonged contact with any cosmetic.  If you or your child have a known sensitivity to any cosmetics or paint, you can request that the design be placed away from eyes, nose, or mouth to help with comfort and removal.
Does my child have to be a certain age to receive face painting or a balloon?
 
Face painting depends on the child.  Most children can sit still for a fun face paint design by age 3.  Due to choking risks, we cannot provide balloon creations for children under 3 years of age.
 
 

 

What if a child is visibly ill at an event?
 
For the protection of all of your guests, we will not paint the face of any child that shows signs of illness or injury; such as, persistent runny nose, eye infection, scrapes, cuts or skin rash.  We are more than happy to provide an alternative by painting a hand or arm instead.  A fantastic balloon design is always a wonderful alternative, as well.  All supplies, including brushes, sponges, table, chair, and cloth coverings are thoroughly washed and sanitzied before and after each event.

Do I need to provide anything for the event?

 

We arrive to each event 15-20 minutes prior to start time with all materials necessary for a face Paint/Balloon party.  This includes, face paint kit, balloons, balloon pump, table, chair, and all materials for our Clown Academy games package.

 

Any and all prizes or rewards for children must be provided by client, if desired.  Entertainers can help distribute or direct any additional activites, prizes, or gift bags for children and guests at event if discussed before date of booked entertainment.  Please let us know if you would like us to assist with any alternative or additional activites beforehand in order to make sure there is enough time. Thank you! 

How Can I Pay for my Event?

 

 

We require all clients to pay a non-refundable $50.00 booking fee with a card before reserving a date and time, but this deposit will go towards your overall balance, which can be paid at the completion of event by cash or card.  We do not accept personal checks at this time. We apologize for any inconveniece this may cause.
